THE STORY BEHIND "ROCK THE BOAT"

Rock the Boat is a renovation project of two classic boats, a 1952 43 Chris-Craft tri-cabin bay cruiser and a 1984 21 Chris – Craft Scorpion.

The project will be filmed and the goal is to have the show aired on television. The production of this show will be done by The Art Institute of Phoenix students, Jim and Carol Allen of Arizona Boating and Water Sports magazine who donated the bay cruiser, and a host of boating enthusiasts who will be donating all the time, labor and materials.

Upon completion of the bay cruiser, it will be auctioned off and the entire proceeds will be donated to Superstition Search and Rescue, a non-profit group dedicated to saving lives in the mountains, desert and on the water. Check this web site as we document the process, talk to the people involved and watch a group of highly talented students produce a documentary which will eventually save the lives of many.
