2006 Arizona RV Show

It’s a One-Stop Marketplace

Motorhomes, tent trailers, custom vans, fifth wheels, campers, SUVs, and much more — all will be on display at the 54th Annual Arizona Sportsmen’s Vacation & RV Show, Feb. 23-26 at Phoenix Civic Plaza.

Also featured will be RV accessories, wilderness resorts, tourism, lodges, guides, outfitters from around the United States and Canada, to name a few.

Show visitors will be able to register to win a "Fishing Trip of a Lifetime." The winner and a guest will be flown to RW’s Fishing Lodge, located on the Kanai River in Alaska for three days of salmon fishing and one day of halibut fishing, courtesy of RW’s Fishing Lodge.

And, show attendees can register for another great prize: one of 16, three-day, two-night stays at Laughlin’s Riverside Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nev.

Other show highlights include Reptile Adventure and kids’ fishing. Reptile Adventure will include dinosaur-like lizards and serpents for everyone to experience up close. This is a display of rare and unusual reptiles from around the world and is presented in a fun, safe, and educational manner.

Always a family favorite is the fishing for children 12 and under. They can fish in a pond stocked with trout, and they get to keep them (free with show admission); all the gear is provided.

And, speaking of fishing, there will be fly-casting demonstrations in a running river filled with live trout and casting demonstrations by top professionals.

Show hours are Thursday, 2-10 p.m.; Friday, noon to 10 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission for adults is $7; for seniors, $6; for juniors (7-12), $5, and children under six, free. Discount tickets are available at participating 7-Eleven stores.
