An Invitation From Southern California

SAC and the Southern California Sportfishing Industry will come together on Saturday, Nov. 3 to give tribute to industry pioneer Bill Poole for all his contributions to the sportfishing industry over his long and illustrious career. 
 
On that Saturday evening, SAC will put on a festive evening of sushi, great food and wine, and a few words of celebration from some of Poole’s friends in the industry.  The venue for the evening’s festivities will be the Hilton San Diego Resort on Mission Bay. 

Discounted rooms will be available for those coming from out of town, as well as other lodgings in the Mission Bay area.

Most important, all the proceeds after expenses will, at Poole’s request, be deposited in a special account to be used to hire professional representation for SAC when the Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) comes to Southern California. 

To make our dollars go farther, SAC will be partnering with the American Sportfishing Association and United Anglers of Southern California. 

You can show your support for Bill Poole and SAC by sponsoring a portion of the expenses, by buying a table, or by donating a quality prize for the door prizes or silent auction. 

There will be only a few live auction items, and the grand live auction item will be a week for six at Bill and Ingrid Poole’s “High Valley” Ranch, located in the Madison River Valley in southern Montana. We hope to see you there.
