News From Phoenix Sister Cities

Opportunities For Exchanges, Pen Pals

Do you know a high school student who is interested in international travel, culture or being a leader? Phoenix Sister Cities is seeking well-rounded sophomores and juniors to apply.

Do you know students who would like to meet teenagers from all around the world — from places like Ireland, Canada, France, Italy, China, Mexico, Japan, Czech Republic, Israel and Taiwan?

Do you know students who would like to travel and try new things in the areas of
culture, art, music, dance, sports, and language?

If so, direct them, please, to the applications available online at www.phoenixsistercities.org. There they can also find out more about the Youth Ambassador Exchange Program.

Looking For Penpals

If you are a teacher and/or know a teacher with a classroom of young individuals interested in exchanging letters with a class in Grenoble, France, please contact Phoenix Sister Cities.

Our friends in Grenoble have a class of 13-year-old French students who all communicate well in English and who are interested in making new friends in Phoenix via exchanging letters.  The ability to speak French is not required.

Please email Misty.Cisneros@phoenix.gov or Eden.Peterson@phoenix.gov for additional details.
