ASU Bass Fishing Team Profile

Craig Carroll Has Fished The National Collegiate

Craig Carroll

This month’s featured ASU angler is Craig Carroll, 20, who has been bass fishing for three years. He lists his fishing strength as “flippin'” and his fishing idol as Skeet Reese.

Carroll considers his biggest fishing accomplishment as being part of the 2007 FOX College Sports National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship.

Currently in sixth place in points on the ASU team, Carroll is making a run at the leaders after his first-place finish and Big Fish of the April tournament at Martinez Lake. His recent win contributes to his chance of earning a spot to compete in the collegiate championships.

A Fire Science major, Carroll enjoys fishing (obviously), hunting, snowboarding, and racing.
