Outgoing AYC Commodore Praised

This is just a short statement: “Thank you.” These two words are not near enough to express the gratitude that I, along with many others, feel for all that Mike Ferring has done over the past year as Arizona Yacht Club commodore.

Well done, Mike; our club has been raised to higher standards because of the effort that you — and your lovely wife — have put forth.

I say the following for I have worn the shoes of commodore: If there were an award for most outstanding commodore, Mike Ferring would receive my vote.

As we get ready to bring in a new board, I wish them well. The shoe may be a large one to fill, but I know Arno [Marcuse] and company will be great!
