Calgary Committee Wins At WorldFEST

 As many of you know, the Phoenix Sister Cities Commission held WorldFEST on the weekend of March 24 and 25.

At this great event there was a People's Choice Award, which was to honor the sister city with the best overall booth, and it is with great pleasure for me to inform you that the Calgary Committee was the winner.

With all the hard work of Darryl Horsman and his team of volunteers, we had a booth that represented the City of Calgary to the fullest.

We had information on the city itself and the Calgary Stampede. We had curling and roping, and we even had information on the oil sands of Alberta.
 
We would like to thank Darryl and all the volunteers for their hard work in making the Calgary Committee the success that it is.
