Outdoor Motorsports Recreation Enthusiasts to See It All, November 18-19, 2017
“We couldn’t be more pleased to have the opportunity to bring this level of event to Lake Havasu City for the sixth consecutive year,” commented Bob Brown, president of Media Direction, also the producer of the record breaking 2017 Lake Havasu Boat Show every April in conjunction with the Lake Havasu Marine Association. “There has always been a close relationship between individuals who enjoy off-roading, RVing, boating, fishing, hunting and camping, it’s just a matter of the time of year. Southwest off-roading and RVing are the recreations of choice in fall and winter that give-way to boating and watersports in spring and summer and no-where in the country is that fact more evident than Lake Havasu City.
Motorsports and outdoor recreation are a natural cross-over blend of similar interests. Because of that, we plan to capture the spirit of these complementary markets by offering an opportunity to browse, compare, and shop for the latest and greatest in offroad vehicles, trucks, Jeeps, sand cars, ATVs, UTVs, 4 X 4s, buggies, rock crawlers, motorcycles, electric vehicles, RVs, toy haulers, travel trailers, boats, pontoons, kayaks, paddleboards, fishing gear, bicycles, mobility scooters, golf cars, camping equipment, and all related accessory products and services in one convenient place.”
Making it even better in 2017 is the recent renovation and expansion of the Windsor 4 special event area with a brand new seven-lane launch ramp and additional parking lot. “We have plenty of room to expand the Expo and accommodate more RVs and boats than ever before,” said Brown. “We’re also adding a couple of new dimensions to the Expo this year which all guests should enjoy — boats in-water at the demo dock ready to take prospective customers for a ride before they make a final buying decision. There will also be a “Hot Wheels” racetrack where kids and adults can choose their favorite cars and enter the competition to win great prizes.
Boaters are also encouraged to come to the Expo by boat. The new Windsor 4 London Bridge Channel Beach adjacent to the Kings View condos is now open and available for boaters to beach their boats. The beach will accommodate over fifty boats and is less than a two-minute walk into the Expo. There’s no charge for beach parking, normal Expo admission prices will prevail.
