In
May of 2006 a Seligman woman contacted the Yavapai County
Sheriff’s Office about the disappearance of her friend,
46-year-old Keith Kenton King, of Seligman.
According to the woman, King had last been seen on May 7,
2006, when a local resident gave him a ride home after King’s
truck reportedly broke down.
The truck was subsequently been found abandoned by the
railroad tracks on the west side of Seligman.
An extensive investigation into the disappearance determined
that King often took day hikes and had mentioned to another
party that he would like to hike up Cemetery Hill.
It was also ascertained that King suffers from some mental
impairment and the possibility of his being disoriented or
confused entered into the situation.
Air and ground searches conducted over the area proved
fruitless and no sign of King has been found.
YCSO is asking anyone who may have information as to the
whereabouts of Keith Kenton King please contact the Yavapai
County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3260. |
