AZGFD Launches Speaker Series

Topics To Come Include Fishing, Boating

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Want to learn more about Arizona's wildlife? The Arizona Game and Fish Department invites you to attend its free, new year-long speaker series on our state's wonderful wild creatures.

"We are excited about the series," says Arizona Game and Fish Department Public Information Officer Shelly Shepherd.

"For a long time we have been interested in providing an opportunity like this to the residents of northern Arizona, and we have chosen topics that we hope will interest a wide variety of people."

To register and receive more information about any of the events in the speaker series, contact the Arizona Game and Fish Department office in Flagstaff at (928) 774-5045.

Future topics in the yearlong speaker series will include boating safety and fishing in the high country.

Presentations will be offered twice a month, including one evening and one weekend talk.

The weekend event will sometimes include a field trip.
