Kingman, Ariz. At some point during late winter vandals destroyed the 100+ year-old Times Gulch miner’s cabin two miles west of Oatman, Arizona.

“Most people lived in tents or cabins made of wood,” said BLM Archaeologist Craig Johnson. “Times Gulch cabin was historically significant because it was one of the few miner’s cabins made of stone.” Johnson added that what were 10-foot high walls were battered down to a few feet high. The cabin was one of the most significant structures in the Oatman Mining District.
