CANYON LAKE – A man jumped from a rock off a cliff at Canyon Lake and missed the water.

A spokesperson from the Mesa Fire Department tells 3TV a 41-year-old man at Boulder Rock was the person who jumped and landed on his back and feet on Friday afternoon. Rescue crews say they think he might have broken his back. The man was airlifted to a hospital.
