AYC Ship's Store Now ONLINE

It's my pleasure to announce that your AYC Ship's Store is now ONLINE and available 24-7! Go to the Airzona Yacht Club Website and click on the "Shop the Ship's Store" icon on the right side.

We've partnered with Coral Reef Sailing Apparel to host our ebroidered AYC Merchandise from Polo Shirts and Hats to gear bags, tech shorts and blankets. Now you can get the AYC Logo on sailing gear from Patagonia, Gill, Columbia and other major brands. There are always Men's and Women's items available. Your choice of the Standard Green Arizona Yacht Club logo or the AYC "Signal Flag" logo. Coming soon will be a Standard White Arizona Yacht Club for darker shirts and Oxford dress shirts.

ALSO - for a small additional fee you can add up to 2 lines of personalization to your order. Put your boat name or make a Regatta memory for your crew!

Shipping is FREE if you order $50 or more of merchandise. There are no minimums to order, everything is printed as you order it and the turnaround is about 5 days. In addition to the items listed in the Ship's Store, if you browse the rest of their products and call them directly, they can usually add our logo to their other merchandise.

We will still have a limited number of items available at the meetings and we'll have samples of many of the items as well. We'll also try and have a computer availalble in case you need help ordering.

The 2010 Michael Farrior-IGFA Annual Juniors’ Tournament

The Marlin Club of San Diego will be holding its annual Juniors’ Fishing Tournament beginning at dawn on Saturday, August 21, 2010. For the first time in the history of the annual event, the Marlin Club is inviting up to forty (40) IGFA Junior Members to participate in addition to the club’s junior members. Applications for a free, IGFA Junior Membership will be available to any junior up to age 15 who wants to fish. There will be a ‘goody bag’ for each participant and the overall winner will receive a special rod and reel.

Categories will include: billfish, yellowtail, tuna and dorado, plus the Killer B’s (Barries, Bass, Bonito and Buts = Halibut). A special prize package will be given to the junior for the largest fish in each category.

Sponsoring shall entail that the sponsored junior(s) fish on the boat of a Marlin Club member or with a Marlin Club member on a non-member boat and/or be registered with the IGFA prior to the start of the tournament.

It should be a great day of fishing with family and friends on Marlin Club member boats.

Entry for all categories is free.
