This is from the "What am I missing file?" " I live in a semi rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road. The reason: 'Too many deer are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore.' From Kingman , KS .. "

North American Championships (BNAC) Coming to Mission Bay
Look Out, San Diego! The Buccs Are Coming! The Buccs Are Coming!
By Emory Heisler &mdash Arizona Yacht Club

ARRRRRR! Well, they aren't the British, that's for sure!
June 21-26, the Buccaneer 18 Fleet of " pirates" and their North American Championships (BNAC) will be coming to Mission Bay and will be hosted by Mission Bay Yacht Club.

MBYC, San Diego, and the "Left Coast" will be hosting BNAC for the first time in Buccaneer 18 Class' 40–year history. If you haven't seen a Bucc 18 in San Diego, it's not too much of a surprise. The Buccaneer 18 has been mostly a "Right Half" of the country boat as a result of its Chrysler "roots." For the complete story go to www.azbw.com/Buccaneer_18_Fleet.php

Corner For Kids

She Remembers A Gentle Sea And The River Seine
By Caroline McWilliams
Glasgow, Scotland

Last April I went to France and Belgium with my school. There was lots of water involved.

We drove in a coach to Hull. We got on a ferry there. It was quite nice. The rooms were small but clean. It was very windy and rainy that day, basically all over the country.

For lunch we had stopped at a school called Stonyhurst, which is just about the biggest anywhere, and it was raining there too.

Press Release, April 6, 2009 - Contact Gary Graham 760.522.3710, ggraham@sportfishing.org

San Diego, California…IGFA Representative Catherine Miller of San Diego celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Port of San Diego’s 30th Annual Day at the Docks® which honors San Diego’s Sportfishing Fleet on April 19, 2009. Catherine Miller, the producer of Day at the Docks, along with the San Diego Port, has worked tirelessly for over 30 years to produce this major San Diego event which introduces the general public to one of the world’s largest sportfishing fleets.

One of the highlights of the day was when Catherine, a San Diego native, was honored by International Game Fish Association Trustee, Michael Farrior, who presented her with a Special Achievement Award for her efforts in promoting sportfishing through the annual Day at the Docks which has become the most significant one-day sport-fishing event in California and is the largest of its kind according to Stephen Cushman, Chairman of the Port Commission. Good Company

Hi,
I am looking to place a litter of 5 adorable bulldog puppies and also the parents, they belong to my late mother in law who I was really close to and she passed away unexpectedly, these puppies are so cute with correct conformation and excellent dispositions with shots and worming up to date. They do the funniest things. You just can't get enough of their playful antics. And they are growing so fast, contact me immediately if you are interested in them.

Springtime On Desert Lakes

In this segment (the second of several on nature), we will be addressing the fauna and flora of the desert.

By Jerry Tate, JT’s Guide Service
Because of the increase in Arizona’s population and the need for water, the dams that were constructed to control water here in Arizona not only contained the water, but also created an explosion of wildlife. For the complete story go to www.azbw.com/Jerry_Tate_Spring_Time_On_Desert_Lakes.php
